We are excited to invite you to our next meeting of the Lorain Ladies Republican Club, a women’s club that helps to educate women and cultivate female candidates for political office. Our meeting will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 2 pm at the Avon Public Library at 37485 Harvest Avenue in Avon, OH.

We have a great lineup of guest speakers who will share their insights and perspectives on some of the most important issues facing our state and nation today. Here are some of the topics and speakers you can look forward to:

• State Senator Jerry Cirino will be speaking on the topic of SB83, a bill that aims to end wokeism in Ohio’s institutions of higher learning by prohibiting mandatory diversity training, critical race theory, and other forms of indoctrination.

• State Representative DJ Swearinggen will discuss his HB8 Bill, a Parental Bill of Rights that helps end some forms of wokeism in Ohio’s public schools by empowering parents to opt out their children from objectionable curriculum, activities, and assessments.

• Financial advisor Jonathon Broadbent will discuss anti-woke investing and the dangers of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and woke financial advisors who may compromise your financial goals and values.
